How to delete your 9x12 Pro account and data

Warning: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data including prospects, campaigns, and financial records will be permanently deleted.

What Gets Deleted

  • Your account information (name, email, profile)
  • All prospect and client data
  • Postcard designs and campaigns
  • Sales pipeline and deal tracking data
  • Financial records and revenue tracking
  • All saved searches and cached data
  • Message templates and interaction history

Method 1: Delete Account Within the App

  1. Log in to your 9x12 Pro account
  2. Click on your Profile/Settings icon (top-right corner)
  3. Navigate to Account Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm deletion by entering your password
  6. Click "Permanently Delete My Account"

⏱️ Processing time: Your account will be deleted immediately. Data removal from backups may take up to 30 days.

Method 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access your account or prefer email deletion:

  1. Send an email to: privacy@10kpostcards.com
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include in your email:
    • Your full name
    • Email address associated with your account
    • Reason for deletion (optional)
  4. We will confirm your identity and process the deletion

⏱️ Response time: We will confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete deletion within 72 hours.

Method 3: Revoke Facebook App Access

If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can also revoke access:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
  2. Find "9x12 Pro" in the list
  3. Click "Remove"
  4. Confirm removal

⚠️ Note: This only removes Facebook's connection. To delete your 9x12 Pro account data, use Method 1 or 2 above.

Data Retention After Deletion

Immediately deleted:

  • Your ability to log in
  • All personal data from active databases
  • All business data (prospects, campaigns, financials)

Retained for up to 30 days:

  • Database backups (for disaster recovery)
  • Server logs (for security purposes)

Retained permanently (if required by law):

  • Financial transaction records (tax compliance)
  • Legal dispute documentation

Before You Delete

💡 Consider exporting your data first:

  1. Go to Settings → Export Data
  2. Download your clients list (CSV)
  3. Download your prospects list (CSV)
  4. Download your financial records (CSV)
  5. Save any postcard designs you want to keep
